Romans 12:2 – “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by renewing your mind. Then you can test and approve God’s will—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.”
Message:
We can pick up spiritual toxins without even realizing it. These include envy when we see others doing well, worry about tomorrow, and spending hours scrolling through social media, which can make us feel less happy with our own lives.
Like weeds in a beautiful garden, these toxins can grow and spread, taking over our hearts and minds.
But God calls us to something better.
He wants us to live free from these burdens, with minds renewed by His love and truth.
Imagine your heart as a garden. God wants it full of peace, joy, and love – not choked by the weeds of fear and doubt.
Identifying spiritual toxins is the first step. We can start pulling them out individually once we see them for what they are. As we do, we’ll find more room for the good things God has for us.
Today, as you go about your day, think of one toxin you can start removing from your life. Remember, small steps lead to big changes.
Prayer:
Lord, help me spot the spiritual toxins that weigh me down. Please give me the strength and wisdom to remove them from my life. Fill my heart with Your goodness and guide me in Your perfect will. Amen.
